It's time to celebrate! On Sunday, May 4th we will commemorate the 19th Pastoral Anniversary of our dear pastor, Rev. Dr. James A. Thornton, recognizing him for his stellar leadership and dedicated service to the Salem Missionary Baptist Church. The theme for this year’s celebration is, “A Pastor Chasing After God’s Heart with a Passion for the People” (Jeremiah 3:15).
The celebration will begin during our morning worship service at 10:45 a.m.
A luncheon further honoring Dr. James A. Thornton will follow, in our Banquet Hall, at 2:00 p.m. The donation for the luncheon is $25.00.
Please note that the worship service will be streamed on YouTube and Facebook. The celebratory luncheon will not be livestreamed.
